SISS Has Passed the First 100 Days of Knowledge Creation

“During the past 100 days, I have been very happy accompanying SISS, experiencing many interesting activities that I have never done before. I also like my friends and teachers at school!”, shared Gia Lac – Year 6 Jaguar – which serves as a torch that lights up faith and guides the teachers and students at Sydney International School System on their journey.

Looking back a few months ago, when SISS organized a series of Open Days to widely introduce the New South Wales program, the enthusiasm and tireless dedication of the Board of Principals and departments helped the School overcome initial difficulties and challenges.

Consequently, in August 2023, SISS formally welcomed its first class of students, marking the beginning  of an exciting journey filled with many aspirations to conquer knowledge. From students who were still confused with many new things, now Jaguars have been creating beautiful youthful memories together under the beloved school SISS.

November 24, 2023, was a special day when SISS marked a new milestone – the first 100 days of accompanying talented Jaguars – by successfully organizing the event “Happy 100 Days of School, Jaguars!” Warm, vibrant, and meaningful, the event happily welcomed the participation of a large number of Parents and Jaguars from all year levels.

At the event, all attendees had nostalgic moments when looking back on the last 100 days of Jaguars. At the same time, the performances of the students and teachers brought explosive emotions to the attendees. In particular, the fundraising booths also received positive support, and all proceeds from these booths will be contributed to the “Build A Better Tomorrow” Community Fund in the academic year 2023 – 2024.

Vice Principal, Mr. Aaron Butler, who could not hide his joy, said that during the first 100 days, he had been most delighted to observe the students’ hard work and laughter in every lesson. That has also served as inspiration for all SISS teachers to work even harder to support students as they continue on their path to becoming knowledgeable and building bright futures.
