WASS offers the “Excelsior Scholarship – Accompany Your Future” with a structure consisting of 44 scholarships covering 20% of tuition fees, 6 scholarships covering 40 – 50%, and 6 scholarships covering 70 – 100% of tuition fees. The “Excelsior Scholarship – Accompany Your Future” includes scholarships for WACE worth up to 3.4 billion VND and scholarships for IBDP worth up to 3.1 billion VND, available for students in Grades 10 and 11 at WASS or students participating in the Placement Test for admission to WASS in the academic year 2023 – 2024.
PennSchool’s scholarship, “Bright Future Scholarship – A Step Heading to Bright Future” consists of scholarships for the American Diploma Pathway (ADP) for students in Grades 9 – 11 studying at WASS and PennSchool, as well as students from public and international schools nationwide in the academic year 2023 – 2024. The total value of the scholarships is up to 11.5 billion VND, with 74 scholarships covering 20%, 11 scholarships covering 40%, 8 scholarships covering 50%, 8 scholarships covering 70%, and 5 scholarships covering 100% of tuition fees.
These scholarships are a well-deserved recognition of the students’ excellent efforts and dedication to their studies. They provide motivation and encouragement for students to continue striving on their journey of knowledge exploration. Moreover, the “Excelsior Scholarship – Accompany Your Future” from WASS and the “Bright Future Scholarship – A Step Heading to Bright Future” from PennSchool also offer opportunities to access international education programs, creating a diverse cultural learning environment and a solid foundation for students to develop and pursue their dreams.
The scholarship selection process includes three rounds: document evaluation, competency assessment, and direct interviews. After preparing the required documents and submitting them to the school during Round 1 from April 24th to June 2nd, 2023, eligible students progress to Round 2 and participate in the essay writing phase. This round takes place on June 10th and 17th, 2023, where students write about their passions, learning goals, achievements, and why they deserve the scholarship. After the Academic Council of the schools completes the evaluation of the essays, outstanding candidates move on to Round 3 for a direct interview with the Board of Principals on June 24th, 2023. After receiving the results of the 3-round assessment by the Academic Council, students will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship worth between 20% – 100%. This result will be announced on June 30th, 2023.
