After a successful 1st Open Day with the theme “Ngay hoi tai nang, uom mam sang tao”, in May, TDA Talent Development Academy continued to successfully organize two Open Day events accompanied by a variety of game and learning activities for students aged 6 – 17 in preparation for the commencement of Summer Camp 2022 on June 13th.
TDA’s second Open Day, themed “Cham cong nghe, mo tuong lai”, took place on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at the WASS campus, 43 Nguyen Thong, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, and drew a large crowd of parents and students.
The third Open Day took place on May 28th, 2022, at PennSchool’s campus, at 10, Ba Thang Hai street, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, with the theme “Don he ruc ro, khoi mo tiem nang,”. The event enjoyed an exciting atmosphere, with a dramatic increase in the number of parents and students compared to the previous two events.
At the two Open Day events, the trial classes revealed the amazing potential for students of all levels, to prepare them in building a strong skill base to foresee future trends.
Students took part in the following three subjects at the second Open Day:
- Digital Tech for children 6 – 12-year-olds
- Space Science for children 6 – 12-year-olds
- Computer Science & Programming (Computer Science & Coding) for children 13 – 17-year-olds
Students had the opportunity to try their hand in the three following subjects at the third Open Day:
- Arts for children 6 – 12-year-olds
- Space Science for children 6 – 12-year-olds
- Business and Startup for children 6 –12-year-olds
Through these events, TDA has assisted students and parents in envisioning the talent they will hone through Summer Camp 2022. In addition to the hands-on activities, students were given the opportunity to discover interests in a variety of fields at an early stage. These range from Science, Technology, Arts, and Business, and will become the cornerstone of their talent development journey in the near future.
Students also had the opportunity to take part in a number of modern tech games, such as Explore the Solar System, Claw vex, Dream-maker, Hungry Hippo, and others, which added to the vibrancy and excitement of the two Open Days. Planetary exploration, sand art, and other activities. TDA also provided a number of valuable rewards to the Open Days’ participants. Attendees also toured the campus and facilities and got to view art pieces (paintings, ceramics, handcrafted crafts, etc.) that have earned great accolades from the talented students at WASS and PennSchool.
TDA’s admissions department also offered advice to parents and provided them with a platform at the event to ask questions about effective ways of fostering talents in young children, demonstrating TDA’s willingness to accompany parents on the path of their child’s journey of talent development.
