Moments full of emotions for teachers at the Closing Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024
Building on over two decades of RT Holdings’ values and achievements, WASS, PennSchool, and SISS successfully concluded the academic year 2023-2024 with remarkable achievements and golden memories. These achievements stand as a testament to the relentless dedication of the entire teaching staff, the invaluable support of parents, and the enthusiastic learning spirit of the students.
In sincere appreciation for the positive contributions of teachers throughout the past academic year, on June 4, 2024, in Nha Trang, the Board of Directors of RT Holdings created an opportunity for teachers from the three schools to meet, interact, and connect during the Closing Ceremony & Awards for the academic year 2023 – 2024 with the theme “Sail into Greatness.”
Symbolizing a fresh start with positive changes, the opening performance “Water – On the Floor” by Music teachers from WASS, PennSchool, and SISS invigorated the atmosphere of the Closing Ceremony. The program was intricately interwoven with impressive performances combining music, light, and dance by the “excellent performers” from the three schools, offering the audience lively, relaxing, and emotionally rich moments.
The highlight of the evening was the Award Ceremony, which recognized teachers who excelled in their teaching duties and made significant contributions to school activities. The total value of the awards presented during the Gala exceeded 800 million VND, encompassing valuable gifts, commemorative plaques, and cash prizes. Awards such as the Appreciation Award, Recognition Award, Excellence Award, and Outstanding Performance Award were presented by the school principals to 233 teachers from WASS, 123 teachers from PennSchool, and 20 teachers from SISS, honoring their outstanding performance throughout the year. Notably, the Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to 5 teachers across the schools for their outstanding contributions in their professional, management, and coordination roles.
In particular, surpassing 25 other outstanding candidates, Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan and Mr. Michael Kerr from WASS, Ms. Nguyen Anh Thuy Uyen and Mr. Philipp Faisst from PennSchool, Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep from SISS, and Mr. Tran Nhu Ly from WASS Kindergarten were honored to have their names engraved on the prestigious Golden Apple Award 2024. This award, voted on by the teachers within the Group, recognized those who have made significant contributions, achieved notable accomplishments, introduced innovative ideas, and made tireless efforts to enhance the quality of education and provide the best learning environment for students.
The Closing Ceremony concluded with radiant smiles, warm hugs, and heartfelt congratulations, creating a colorful picture. In particular, the organizing committee of the “Sail into Greatness” program surprised the teachers with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky in Nha Trang. The resounding explosions of fireworks and the sparkling lights not only brought joy and excitement but also symbolized the wishes of all the teachers for a bright and promising future. RT Holdings hopes that the “3 days and 2 nights” trip in Nha Trang will become an unforgettable experience and a beautiful memory for each teacher, helping them recharge, strengthen solidarity, and prepare for greater breakthroughs in the next academic year.
