RT Holdings is constantly investing in technology to stay up with the trend of rapid digital transformation, enabling students to adapt to new technology. At the start of the new academic year 2023 – 2024, the School invested massively in equipping modern technological equipment for teaching and learning, such as computers, laptops, tablets, and so on, to ensure that each student has adequate practice equipment.
Tablets, in particular, are a feature-rich medium that allows students to connect with the world through colorful, vibrant graphics and conduct experiments securely and conveniently via virtual screens. Furthermore, with functions such as taking notes, sketching, filming movies, preparing presentations, and so on, this device enhances the learning process and inspires creativity. As a result, RT Holdings has chosen to use Apple iPad products due to their numerous features, flexible design, educational relevance, and commitment to protecting user data.
On September 15th and 16th, 2023, the Apple team visited RT Holdings’ campus to hold a professional development workshop and face-to-face discussions in order to improve WASS, PennSchool, and SISS teachers’ capacity to use iPads in the classroom.
The workshop presented teachers with a wealth of information. RT Holdings’ teachers have mastered the use and basic functionalities of the iPad thanks to accurate technical advice from Apple professionals. As a result, teachers can now provide students with guidance and ensure that devices are utilized appropriately and safely in the classroom.
Using iPad features to enhance student collaboration and creativity is an essential topic covered in the workshop. Teachers practiced creating interactive learning activities using mobile devices, enabling students to collaborate and be more creative.
Experts also introduced teachers to software and applications that are appropriate for the curriculum and specific academic goals. When technology is integrated into lectures, the method of conveying knowledge becomes new and more appealing by incorporating games, drawings, mind mapping, and linking with virtual reality technologies to explore simulated surroundings and so forth. This tool will assist students in absorbing information more quickly and effectively.
When this modern technology becomes widely used in education, it has the potential to revolutionize the way we teach in the future and develop a new educational approach in Vietnam. RT Holdings will continue to invest in and improve the learning experience, preparing students for a technological future.
