Through the years, the Western Australian International School System (WASS) has been providing leading teaching methods and a dynamic international learning environment. As a result, WASS students have always had the best educational opportunities, which has allowed them to make remarkable progress along their journey.
One of the most notable accomplishments for the school year 2021 – 2022 is the fact that every WASSer who took the first IB (International Baccalaureate) course was able to pass the course with an average score of 34 points, successfully completing the program. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is highly popular amongst students and their parents. The reason is in addition to equipping the students with the necessary skills and knowledge to continue their studies at international universities, it also gives them a strong foundation for starting their own careers as they grow up in the current globalization.
The notable accomplishments of the previous IB course included:
– 100% of students graduated
– The average score was 34
– 40% of students scored above 35
– 73.3% of students received a Bilingual Diploma (for students who completed 2 different language subjects in the program)
– Bui Minh Anh, who won the title of valedictorian, got 41/45 points
– Bui Nguyen Phuong Parice, who won the runner-up title, got 40/45 points
This was an outstanding achievement for the students, marking an important milestone in WASS’ teaching and learning process. This accomplishment can be attributed to the students’ efforts and the dedication of the IB class teachers. To help students succeed in a world that is constantly changing, WASS teachers always encourage them to develop life skills, engage in independent study, and form a global perspective.
WASS will keep cultivating young students who are eager to learn, explore, and discover in the future, preparing them to become global citizens. From there, they can confidently pursue their dreams in any country in the world. In order to do that, the teachers at WASS will continuously help students build a solid foundation of knowledge and excellence before embarking on their journeys in higher education.
