Every event at WASS Kindergarten is more than just a playful pastime; it serves as a thoughtfully designed “classroom without walls” aimed at shaping character and planting the seeds of positive values in students from their earliest years.

In August, No Backpack Day 2026 brought a vibrant atmosphere to the school, as familiar backpacks were replaced by a wave of unique, whimsical, and love-filled ideas from little WASSers. The event aimed to encourage students to step outside conventional boundaries. With their everyday school bags temporarily set aside, the children faced a fun challenge: finding creative alternatives from familiar items around them.

School spaces lit up as little WASSers confidently arrived with their unique “backpacks” – ranging from colorful plastic baskets and cleverly crafted cardboard boxes to recycled paper bags and humorous household items. This activity not only sparked observational thinking and problem-solving skills, but also boosted their self-confidence as they eagerly stepped onto a special fashion “runway,” posing joyfully and cheering on their friends.

Alongside cognitive development, the school seamlessly integrates humanistic lessons into practical activities. After listening to stories about the hardships faced by children in remote mountainous regions, little WASSers used their dexterity and innocent imagination to hand-decorate unique backpacks. Each backpack became a warm spirit gift conveying genuine affection.

By bridging the joy of creativity with the spirit of compassion, the school gradually empowers students to develop an active mindset, appreciate what they have, and nurture empathy. The seeds of kindness planted today will form a solid foundation for WASSers to grow into global citizens – both confident and compassionate – at RT Holdings.
