Alongside improving educational quality, RT Holdings always values traditional cultural values as an emotional anchor that helps students develop comprehensively in intellect, soul, and character. This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival at WASS, PennSchool, SISS, and WASS Kindergarten continued that journey through exciting experiences combined with practical charity activities, affirming the commitment to “education in love” on every path of development.
From the early days of September, the familiar spaces across RT Holdings’ schools took on a vibrant new look. The festival brought a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a folk culture atmosphere and the warmth of reunion, while strengthening friendships and performing meaningful acts of kindness.
The festival atmosphere was lively with a series of activities, preserving traditional beauty while encouraging creative thinking. Students excitedly tried their hands at Five-fruit Tray Decoration, Stories Beneath the Moon, or skillfully crafting unique lanterns from recycled materials. Blending into that colorful playground were booming festival drums, lion dance performances, a fashion show and musical performances filled with laughter.
In particular, interacting with the Moon Lady and the Moon Boy through folk games and traditional food experiences not only helped preserve cultural identity, but also gave students a chance to build pride in their roots, strengthen connections, and form a confident personal identity on their integration journey.
In addition to practicing skills and national pride, RT Holdings always guides students toward vivid lessons in kindness. This year’s Mid-Autumn season was even more complete thanks to practical actions toward the community. WASS students donated books, school supplies, and toys to hand-deliver to children at Thu Duc Youth Village. Meanwhile, the SISS and PennSchool communities through sweet boxes of cakes and milk, bringing a warm reunion festival to young children at Minh Tam Shelter, Linh Son Pagoda; as well as pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital 2.
For RT Holdings, every cultural event is a valuable opportunity to nurture the souls and emotions of future generations. The blend of honoring root values and spreading goodwill is clear proof of the mission to educate well-rounded individuals. Under the full moon, the bright smiles and sincere sharing of the students are seeds of kindness planted today, continuing to reach far and bring positive values to society.
