On February 28 and March 3, 2025, the #HomeOfTheEagles at PennSchool had the opportunity to welcome special guests from Oxford Spires Academy (UK) with a series of Cultural Exchange activities, “United Through Play: A Splash of Culture.”
With an open and friendly spirit, the PennSchool community came together to create a vibrant atmosphere with sports activities, school tours, and networking sessions, helping Oxford Spires Academy students quickly integrate and connect. In addition to learning and playing experiences, they also joined the #HomeOfTheEagles in organizing a meaningful fundraising booth, spreading love to the community.
Furthermore, culinary exploration is a vital aspect of the cultural experience for visitors to Vietnam. As part of the cultural exchange program at PennSchool, students from the UK participated in a workshop on making “banh trang lui,” a traditional dish from the Central Highlands of Vietnam. This immersive experience allowed the students to gain deeper insights into Vietnam’s cultural richness and forge lasting memories.
The cultural exchange trip not only left an impressive mark on the country and people of Vietnam, but also provided an opportunity for PennSchool and Oxford Spires Academy students to connect and make new friends.
