With enthusiasm and the desire to express themselves and gain experience in academic arenas, #HomeOfTheEagles and WASSers engaged in exciting competitions throughout February and March.
The Confidence of WASSers & #HomeOfTheEagles in the Debate Arenas
From mid-February to early April, the Debate Champions 2025 at WASS with the theme “The Art of Argumentation” and the Debate Elite Tournament 2025 at PennSchool with the theme “Beyond Words: Where Ideas Ignite” brought many intense and thought-provoking debates.
Throughout the rounds, the contestants were divided into Affirmative and Opposition Teams, continuously delivering sharp arguments to defend their viewpoints. WASSers and #HomeOfTheEagles demonstrated profound knowledge, critical thinking, and impressive persuasive skills. In addition, the Judges were particularly impressed by their awareness of social issues, logical reasoning, and strong teamwork. As an annual debate playground of WASS and PennSchool, these competitions not only help students develop their analytical and debating skills but also encourage them to boldly express their perspectives on real-world issues.
#HomeOfTheEagles Challenged Themselves in Fashion and Mathematics
The first half of Semester 2 at PennSchool was more vibrant than ever with the launch of two new competitions – Project Runway Contest (Season 1) and Math Olympiad 2025.
In the Qualifying Round of the Project Runway Contest, the contestants confidently presented their costume sketches to the Judges, seamlessly and creatively blending materials, inspirations, and environmental messages into their designs. Following this round, the Organizing Committee selected the 29 best individuals/teams to realize their ideas and showcase their creations in the Final Round in early April.
The PennSchool community’s journey of pushing boundaries continued with the thrilling Math Olympiad 2025. More than 100 contestants passed the Qualifying Round and entered the Final Round with great determination. This competition challenged the minds of Math enthusiasts, helping #HomeOfTheEagles refine their logical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Beyond victories, each competition is a journey of knowledge discovery – an opportunity for students to grow and break through their limits. At PennSchool and WASS, reaching a goal is not just a destination but a stepping stone to the future. RT Holdings believes that through these academic arenas, future leaders and global digital citizens will gradually mature, foster a strong will, and be ready to shine on the journey ahead.
