WASS (A member of RT Holdings) was honored to welcome the Australian consulate-general with new learning opportunities

As the only school in Vietnam authorized to implement the Western Australian Curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 12, WASS (a member of RT Holdings) takes pride in the support it receives from the Australian Consulate-General. This partnership strengthens our mission to deliver a prestigious, high-quality education program, fostering the development of outstanding, dynamic global citizens.
On January 8, 2025, WASS had the honor of welcoming Mr. Brent Stewart, Deputy Consul-General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City, during his visit and engagement at 157 Ly Chinh Thang Campus. Through the meeting, WASS gained valuable insights into educational policies, benefits, and opportunities for learning and exchange programs in Australia for WASSers. This marks a significant milestone, motivating WASS to continuously enhance the quality of our teaching and strengthen connections with international partners. These efforts aim to provide students with access to the finest academic resources, equipping them to achieve success in their pursuit of knowledge at higher levels of education.
Additionally, the School presented the Australian Consulate-General with meaningful gifts. The first was a 3D-printed artwork of the Commonwealth of Australia’s flag, entirely conceptualized and designed by WASSers in over 3 hours. Students operated the machines, tested the printing material, and produced smaller prototypes to ensure accurate colors and sharpness. Once the design met all requirements, the final print took 9 hours and 51 minutes to complete. WASSers carefully mixed colors to replicate the shades of the Australian Flag, applying intricate techniques to paint and highlight elements such as the five-pointed star and the seven-pointed Federation star.
The second gift was a gold-plated model of the Khue Van Pavilion, symbolizing the value of education and Vietnam’s rich tradition of scholarly excellence. These gifts not only showcase the students’ creativity but also serve as a testament to WASS’s commitment to fostering academic excellence – deeply rooted in Vietnam’s cultural heritage while embracing an international perspective.
