After nearly 500 intense matches at the Southern Region – Vietnam VEX Robotics Championship 2024, the 16 PennSchool students have excellently surpassed over 32 teams from all over the country to bring home the biggest prizes along with the “golden ticket” to participate in the Final Round in the US in May 2024.
Team PENN APPLE JUICE:
– Won the Middle School Robot Skills Challenge Championship.
– Achieved the highest score in Vietnam in the autonomous control and programming challenge.
– Honored to be the only team in the Middle School category representing Vietnam in the VEX Robotics World Championships Final Round.
Team PENN MÌ Ý:
– Won the High School Robot Skills Challenge Championship and Excellence Award at the High School category. The Excellence Award is awarded to the team with the highest score in Vietnam in the autonomous control and programming challenge.
Additionally, both team PENN MÌ Ý and PENN MÌ GÓI achieved remarkable accomplishments for their outstanding performance in robot operation on the field and evaluations from the Panel of Judges, including:
– Team PENN MÌ Ý secured 2 spots representing Vietnam in the VEX Robotics World Championships Final Round and ranked Top 3 in the Alliance Head-to-Head matches.
– Team PENN MÌ GÓI ranked Top 5 in the Alliance Head-to-Head matches and Top 4 in the Robot Skills Challenge.
– Both teams, PENN MÌ Ý and PENN MÌ GÓI, have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Alliance Head-to-Head matches.

Alongside the achievements, the experiences and knowledge gained are invaluable rewards for them in this competition. The School hoped that these would serve as motivation for them to continue demonstrating their capabilities in the Final Round as well as maintaining their passion for learning and exploring more valuable knowledge.
