This October, the RT Holdings community joyfully celebrated a vibrant, heartwarming, and laughter-filled Mid-Autumn Festival. Across its school systems, from WASS, PennSchool, and SISS to WASS Kindergarten, the familiar learning spaces were transformed into “fairy moon gardens”, where glowing lanterns, cheerful gatherings, and the spirit of sharing came together in harmony.
The Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 offered students a series of colorful experiences. From lantern-decorating workshops and festive tray creation to traditional games and costume activities inspired by Uncle Cuoi and Moon Lady, each event helped students better understand cultural traditions, develop creativity and dexterity, and deeply feel the joy of reunion.
Throughout the campuses, laughter and cheerful voices of students blended with the rhythmic beats of festival drums, the excitement of dragon and lion dances, and the melody of Mid-Autumn performances.
At WASS, the Young Artist contest provided a lively art playground where students freely expressed their imagination through vibrant paintings inspired by the Mid-Autumn spirit – each artwork reflecting heartfelt affection and pride in their cultural heritage.
The spirit of compassion also shone brightly through PennSchool’s Charity Gift Station, where over 100 boxes of milk and Mid-Autumn gifts were delivered to young patients at Children’s Hospital 2. These small but meaningful gifts carried great love, teaching students the value of “giving is receiving” and to cherish life’s simple blessings.
The warmth of family reunion continued through hands-on workshops, where parents and children kneaded dough, shaped mooncakes, crafted lanterns, and shared laughter over their adorable creations. Beyond play, these moments bridged generations, nurtured affection, and created lasting childhood memories.
For RT Holdings, the Mid-Autumn Festival is more than a cultural celebration; it is an integral part of its humanistic education journey: helping students grow intellectually and emotionally, to love, to share, and to take pride in their national identity. Under the radiant full moon, every smile and every glowing lantern symbolized faith, unity, and kindness – values that RT Holdings continues to nurture steadfastly on its mission of “educating with love”.
