In February and March, the Science and Technology teams from WASS, PennSchool, and the Sydney School made their marks at the Final Round of the VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship 2025, delivering outstanding performances and achieving remarkable milestones.
All members of PennSchool’s Technoholics competed in the Final Round of the VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship 2025 – Southern Region on February 8 & 9, 2025, and Northern Region on March 1 & 2, 2025. Facing numerous teams from various regions, PennSchool’s 2 teams demonstrated exceptional preparation and resilience, earning impressive results. Team PENN BÁNH Ú secured a Top 20 position in the Alliance Challenge, ranked Top 10 in the Robot Skills (High School) category, and won the prestigious Innovate Award, which honors innovative robot designs and strategic gameplay. Meanwhile, Team PENN BÁNH ÍT made a remarkable breakthrough, advancing to the Alliance Challenge Finals, achieving Second Place in the Alliance Challenge, and securing a Top 3 ranking in the Robot Skills (Secondary School) category.
Continuing this success, WASS teams entered the VEX Robotics National Championship Finals on February 22 & 23, 2025. After extensive training, WASS’s 3 Secondary School teams earned spots among the Top 10 strongest teams in the competition. TEAM UNITED BOT ranked Top 5 in the Alliance Challenge, TEAM B52 secured the Top 6, and TEAM WASS LEGEND held a strong Top 7 position. These impressive achievements reflect the determination and competitive excellence of WASSers.
Joining the competition alongside the WASS teams, Sydney School’s Innovation team also made a lasting impression on February 22 & 23, 2025. With meticulous preparation and smart strategies, Team Innovation outperformed multiple opponents, reaching the decisive round, winning the Energy Award – recognizing teams with outstanding enthusiasm – and securing a Top 9 ranking in the Alliance Challenge.
VEX Robotics is more than just a competition – it is a dynamic platform for students to cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, and a breakthrough mindset to conquer challenges. The accomplishments of the teams from WASS, PennSchool, and the Sydney School stand as a testament to their relentless effort, ingenuity, and exceptional teamwork.
