RT Holdings’ Roses Exude Fragrance in Their Own Unique Ways
March always holds a very special meaning as the world celebrates and sends love to the “half of the world” on International Women’s Day. This month holds even greater significance for every member of RT Holdings as the Group joyously commemorates its 21st anniversary (March 24, 2003 – March 24, 2024).
21 years – over two decades – a long journey with countless changes, challenges, and obstacles, RT Holdings continues to strive, ready to reach out across the vast ocean to assert its leading position on the journey of creating positive values and providing high-caliber education for the country. To be able to maintain and develop strongly until today, the Group is extremely grateful for the tireless dedication of its members and, above all, values the timeless companionship of the “radiant flowers” with long-standing experience at RT Holdings.
To honor the efforts and contributions of the women in the Group, let’s listen to the heartfelt thoughts of the beloved female teachers and staff working at RT Holdings:
Could you share with RT Holdings’ readers about the serendipity that led you to be connected with the Group and your bond with it?
Ms. Luong Thi Kim Dung – Head of Training Department – Academic Affairs of American College of Vietnam (AmCollege):
I got to know about RT Holdings through a recommendation from a relative, back when the Group was still the Institute of Accounting and Business Management (IABM). After receiving an invitation and fortunately passing the interview round, on May 01, 2009, I officially started working at the Group. What I will always remember from my first days at work – which also happened to be International Labor Day – is that Mr. Tran Van Rung provided me with the opportunity to join my colleagues for a relaxing trip. I was truly surprised and grateful to him for that.
Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Homeroom Teacher of Class BWA-4C at WASS:
While in college, I had heard about the reputation and prestige of RT Holdings, as it was not only a renowned educational institution but also a workplace with a lot of potential and advantages, always providing favorable conditions for its employees to develop and enhance their professional skills. Therefore, upon completing my university degree, I chose RT Holdings as the place to start my career and “hone” my teaching skills. Becoming a member of the Group is an honor for me.
Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Yen – Kindergarten Teacher at WASS:
I learned about RT Holdings through various media channels, and after conducting extensive research on the company’s environment, policies, and employee development programs, I decided to apply for an interview. Fortunately, I was offered the opportunity to work with the Group, and since then, I have accompanied them.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My My – MoET Elementary Program Teacher at PennSchool:
After concluding my business career, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I was extremely fortunate to learn about the education program of American College of Viet Nam (AmCollege) under RT Holdings in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Thanks to that, my dream of dedicating myself to teaching has become a reality. For me, this opportunity is not merely a serendipity but also a profound expression of gratitude towards Mr. Rung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of RT Holdings – who founded the School and created conditions for me to spread my wings and pursue my passion.
How long have you been working at the Group? During that time, what do you think was the main factor contributing to the significant growth and development of RT Holdings?
Ms. Luong Thi Kim Dung – Head of Training Department – Academic Affairs of American College of Vietnam (AmCollege):
During my 15 years working at the Group, in my opinion, the main factor that helped RT Holdings’ significant development was its unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of education and student well-being. It is extremely important to develop a suitable and advanced curriculum that continuously adapts and updates according to market demands. RT Holdings always puts the satisfaction of each generation of learners first. Since then, the Group has built trust and brand reputation in the hearts of parents and students and has developed sustainably over the past 21 years.
Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Homeroom Teacher of Class BWA-4C at WASS:
I believe a company cannot succeed and grow if it lacks experienced managers who are knowledgeable about their field and understand their employees. Fortunately, during my 5 years at WASS, I have consistently received unwavering support and attention from the Board of Principals. In addition, the Board of Directors of RT Holdings also values the well-being and morale of each member, which is evident through their commitment to providing professional training courses, workshops, and team-building activities. Thus, the above factors played an essential role in helping the Group develop, expand its operations, and assert its brand in the current competitive market.
Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Yen – Kindergarten Teacher at WASS:
Having worked for the Group for 7 years, I have witnessed RT Holdings and its member units undergo transformative growth in order to reach the formidable position the Group holds today. Firstly, we must mention the excellent leadership, talent, and visionary outlook of the Board of Directors – the core factors for the Group’s development. Then comes the team of talented teachers and staff, with high professional skills and teamwork abilities, always making breakthroughs and innovations in services to make the Group stand out and make a difference. Furthermore, establishing a strong brand identity and gaining trust from parents and partners have been important to the sustained growth and advancement of the Group. Lastly, adaptability, readiness for change, meeting market demands, flexibility, and adaptation have helped the Group thrive and develop.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My My – MoET Elementary Program Teacher at PennSchool:
As of 2024, I have been working at the Group for 6 years. This is not a very long time, but enough for me to understand that “people” are the main factor that has led to RT Holdings” significant development today. I notice that the Group always prioritizes nurturing and investing in its human resources, from recruiting potential candidates with high professional skills to training and developing the capabilities of its employees. The Group always creates conditions for each individual to maximize their abilities. Not only that, RT Holdings also pays special attention to creating a positive and innovative working environment to promote dynamism and innovation in each person. Therefore, each member of the organization feels confident and enthusiastic about their work, contributing positively to the Group’s overall success.
Could you share with us any special experiences in your career at the Group, what challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Ms. Luong Thi Kim Dung – Head of Training Department – Academic Affairs of American College of Vietnam (AmCollege):
During my work, one of the biggest challenges I faced was the change in educational regulations. To overcome this, as the Head of Training Department – Academic Affairs, I always had to constantly update and understand the latest regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training as well as related directives and guidelines so that the new regulations could be effectively applied, ensuring that students receive the best and most appropriate entitlements. Furthermore, I always maintained a spirit of learning and readiness to adapt to changes, regularly updating knowledge and skills through participation in training courses and research, to ensure that training programs are always pioneering and meet the latest market demands.
Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Homeroom Teacher of Class BWA-4C at WASS:
During my time working at WASS, I have accumulated valuable lessons and teaching experiences, enhancing my professional skills through engaging teaching sessions, having memorable experiences with students during Field Trips, and strengthening my solidarity with colleagues at work and through team-building activities. While the work journey has presented its share of challenges, these challenges have been the motivation for me to strive for personal development every day. I have explored suitable teaching methods and observed the individual characteristics and learning abilities of each student to provide the most optimal teaching methodologies. I regularly communicate with parents about their children’s learning situations so that parents are informed and can support their children. In this way, I have overcome difficulties and contributed to RT Holdings until now.
Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Yen – Kindergarten Teacher at WASS:
Caring for and educating preschool children can be more challenging when they are still very young and have yet to grasp their personal behaviors. As a teacher, it demands patience, attentive listening, and the willingness to accompany the children like friends. To achieve this, I have designed activities and lessons suitable for different levels, using flexible and diverse teaching methods, creating a stimulating learning environment that meets the needs of each child. More importantly, the cooperation between teachers and parents, creating open communication channels to share information about the children’s learning progress and development, has helped parents trust and feel reassured when sending their children to school.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My My – MoET Elementary Program Teacher at PennSchool:
In the era of rapid development in science and technology, education also needs to change to align with current trends. At RT Holdings, this requirement is always given top priority. Besides enhancing professional competence and pedagogical skills, teachers need to be proficient in using software and applying new technologies in teaching, breaking away from the conventional methods and constantly updating knowledge. Initially, this posed a significant challenge for me. However, every year at RT Holdings, training and skill enhancement activities are emphasized through training weeks and professional development. Workshops focus on using software and applying new technologies to teaching. This not only helps me grasp professional knowledge but also provides opportunities to access new and useful information, thereby enhancing my ability to cope, adapt, and innovate in my teaching.
Finally, with the experiences and knowledge that you have accumulated in your career, do you have any advice or messages for your colleagues in our Group?
Ms. Luong Thi Kim Dung – Head of Training Department – Academic Affairs of American College of Vietnam (AmCollege):
For me, the prerequisite for becoming better than the old version is to never stop learning and improving one’s professional competence. This not only helps us adapt quickly to work and life but also serves as a lever to steadily improve and embrace the great opportunities ahead. Moreover, always be ready to support and work with a cooperative spirit to achieve the Group’s common goals. Only by accompanying each other with solidarity and dedication can we overcome challenges and reap the sweet fruits.
Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Homeroom Teacher of Class BWA-4C at WASS:
Nelson Mandela – the first President of South Africa, once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” In our roles as “carriers” of knowledge, I hope that teachers working at RT Holdings will keep the flame of passion for their profession, always be optimistic, and steadfastly overcome every difficulty and challenge to reach the successful destinations of knowledge.
Ms. Le Ngoc Hoang Yen – Kindergarten Teacher at WASS:
As educators, remember that our goal is to help and accompany students to explore and develop all aspects of themselves comprehensively. Despite the difficulties and challenges along the way, I hope that teachers will always maintain faith and focus on that goal. Passion and intense love for the profession will undoubtedly be powerful motivations to help us overcome all difficulties and achieve the sweet fruits ahead.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My My – MoET Elementary Program Teacher at PennSchool:
To create a happy educational environment, it must be based on understanding, fairness, and respect. In addition to constantly improving professional skills and competencies, be ready to learn, adapt, and innovate in teaching methods. I hope that each member of PennSchool in particular and RT Holdings in general will always believe in themselves, be mentally prepared to face difficulties, and try to do their best to succeed.
