RT Holdings Held the Professional Development Training Week for Teachers at the Beginning of the Academic Year 2024-2025.

Aiming at improving and enhancing the quality of teaching for students, the Professional Development Training Week was held with the participation of teachers from WASS, PennSchool, and SISS. Throughout the 1-week training program (from August 1 to August 13, 2024), teachers of RT Holdings underwent some intensive training about pedagogical methodology and educational psychology sessions. After the training program, they gained deeper knowledge and were able to create a study environment full of love and friendliness. Besides, teachers also participated in fire prevention  and first-aid training in order to be always ready in emergency cases at school.

At the Western Australian International School System (WASS), teachers had a meeting with theWestern Australian School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) to keep up with the latest information about the curriculum , teaching methods, and evaluation of results to improve and synchronize with the set of teaching outcome standards. In addition, teachers also took part in a sharing session on how to unleash students’ learning potential and creativity. This will certainly be the key for teachers to promote the inherent talents of each student so that the WASS community can reach success in the new academic year.

Within the Professional Development Training Week at PennSchool, teachers gathered together to learn about the general overview of the academic year’s theme, goals and plans to implement learning programs, and events that will be held throughout the academic year. Moreover, PennSchool teachers also participated in psychology workshops with the topic “Managing Children’s Behaviors” shared by Ms. Nguyen Thuy Uyen Phuong – Founder and CEO of Faros Education & Consulting. In addition, the workshop about “Behavior Management for Students” led by the school psychologist also brought in many interesting perspectives that helped teachers gain a deeper understanding about the role of supporting students in both academics and mental well-being, leading to the purpose of building a happy and united PennSchool community.

At the Sydney International School System (SISS), a series of training programs on the Professional Development Training Week emphasized some highlighted details of the New South Wales curriculum that has been implemented at SISS. Subsequently, SISS promoted the integration of technology into teaching with tools such as interactive boards, iPads, and the LMS. These training sessions reaffirm SISS’s top priority: enhancing student learning experiences through educational digital transformation. At the same time, to improve the quality of teaching, the expat teachers of SISS have participated in specialized training on The Walker Learning – one of SISS’s primary teaching methods.

As the Professional Development Training Week concluded, teachers of RT Holdings were well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to accompany students on the journey to broaden their horizons in the academic year 2024 – 2025.
