The “Muong Nhe Dormitory”, the first project under the main project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams” of the academic year 2025 – 2026, has officially been completed and put into operation, opening new doors to safe and equitable learning opportunities for children in the highlands.
In Muong Nhe Commune, Dien Bien Province, where H’Mong students travel 20 – 50 km daily to reach the district high school, limited boarding facilities and inadequate infrastructure have long made their educational journey challenging. The newly built dormitory, spanning 162.5 m² and equipped with living quarters, classrooms, restrooms, a kitchen, and shared activity areas, now serves as a sturdy, welcoming home for 50 – 60 students – helping them stay close to school and easing their path to learning each day.

Completed despite harsh weather conditions, the project stands as a warm ray of light in the misty mountains of Dien Bien, reminding us that hope always shines where hearts come together for the community. Beyond offering shelter from the unpredictable natural environment, the dormitory provides a stable foundation where young learners can grow confidently, nurture their dreams, and believe in a brighter future.
“Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams” is more than a construction initiative for mountainous children – it is a movement that nurtures compassion throughout the RT Holdings community.
