Social Studies Teacher

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for candidates for the International School System in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:

Campus 04 Nguyen Thong: No.04 Nguyen Thong Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, HCMC

Campus 10 Ba Thang Hai: No.10 Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 12, District 10, HCMC

To teach diligently and faithfully the classes or subjects assigned to the Board of Principals
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs and interests of students
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and staff to support the overall mission of the school
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in education
Engage with parents and the community to promote the school and build strong relationships
Cover for absent colleagues when necessary
Other related duties assigned by Board of Principals

40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.

A Bachelor’s degree in education in a relevant field
Teaching License in Social Studies
Experience in teaching American history or major in history
A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in an international school
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for education and a commitment to student success
Ability to differentiate student-learning experiences through the use of a variety of teaching and assessment strategies in order to meet the needs of all students
In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures
