With the goal of improving the learning environment by building an information technology room as well as providing computers for students at Son Thinh Secondary School (Pa Te Village, Tuc Dan Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province), the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” from the main project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow” was officially completed at the end of January 2024.
The funds used for the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project were contributed by the Community Fund of educational institutions under RT Holdings during the academic year 2023-2024, with an allocated funding of 152,000,000 VND. Accordingly, the project has provided 20 computers with a spacious and modern information technology room for 989 students in 30 classes, meeting the students’ needs for practice and access to technology.
In accordance with the 2018 MoET Program, implemented during the 2020 academic year, Information Technology has been added as an elective subject in Grade 1 to Grade 2 and a compulsory subject for Grades 3 and above. Therefore, the “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” project will provide students at Son Thinh Secondary School with access to technology and essential knowledge in the subject of Informatics. This will also serve as a solid foundation for students, empowering them with motivation and confidence on their journey to conquer knowledge and pursue their dreams.
The new IT room is expected to be inaugurated in February 2024. In addition, the next projects are also in the process of being implemented and completed. The Group will continue to provide the latest updates and images of these projects in the upcoming period. RT Holdings hopes that joining hands in building a fully-equipped learning environment will contribute to the comprehensive development of the community and create sustainable opportunities for the young generations in Vietnam.
