In the early days of March, students from schools within RT Holdings participated in a series of vibrant activities to celebrate International Women’s Day. They expressed their sincere appreciation for the women in their lives and shared meaningful messages to spread awareness and appreciation.
The School Campus Bloomed with Vibrant Colors and Creativity
Throughout the event on International Women’s Day, students at WASS and WASS Kindergarten transformed their schools into a beautiful flower garden with lovely handmade flowers, sending heartfelt wishes to the women they cherish. Meanwhile, students at Sydney School showcased their creativity by crafting colorful fans and pipe cleaner flowers together.
Adding to the celebration, the students also received colorful flower-shaped cookies, which they enjoyed in a warm and joyful setting. This will undoubtedly be one of their most cherished memories, as they brightened their second home with vibrant colors alongside their friends and expressed their sincere affection to the wonderful women around them.
Together, We Celebrated Gender Equality, Empowering Everyone to Write Their Own Story
Under the theme of gender equality, the schools jointly organized diverse activities for students to explore societal gender stereotypes and confidently express their views to gradually eliminate them. At WASS and PennSchool, the message of gender equality was conveyed through creative bookmark activities. Furthermore, discussions on gender equality encouraged students to develop a more open perspective on a future free from gender norms, where all dreams can be realized.
Also on March 8, the #HomeOfTheEagles and little WASSers participated in an activity where they dressed in outfits representing their dream professions, proudly showcasing their aspirations. The diverse career choices of the students demonstrated a confident, proactive young generation unafraid to break traditional gender barriers.
Meanwhile, the happy Jaguars community explored the message of gender equality by learning about the 100-year fight for women’s rights, enabling them to deepen their understanding and appreciation of women’s contributions.
Through these International Women’s Day activities, the schools aim to create a fun and meaningful environment that strengthens student bonds. Additionally, educational elements are integrated to deepen students’ understanding of gender equality, empowering them to contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate society and spread positive messages.
