Diverse and filled with excitement, Book Week activities at the Sydney School and WASS Kindergarten opened up a captivating world of knowledge, fostering a healthy reading culture among students.
Taking place from February 24 – 28, 2025, Book Week at the Sydney School, themed “Across the Story Bridge”, provided engaging and enriching experiences for Jaguars across all year levels.
Activities such as Bookworm, D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read), Tomorrow’s Storytellers, Better Than Fiction, Author Focus, Gift a Book – Share the Love, and Dress-up Day created opportunities for students to share their favorite books, craft stories from their own perspectives, design book covers and bookmarks, and transform into beloved story characters.
As part of Book Week, Jaguars also had the chance to visit one of the city’s most historically rich libraries, which features thousands of books and interactive exploration areas, during their Field Trip to the General Sciences Library of Ho Chi Minh City.
For the little WASSers, Book Week “Open a Book, Open a World” was marked by unique activities such as reading with parents, performing a play, and the “Golden Bell Challenge”. They also had a memorable visit to the Sydney School, where they explored its cozy library and modern functional rooms, making this Book Week even more special.
With the belief that books are indispensable companions on every individual’s journey of learning and growth, RT Holdings nurtures a reading culture for the younger generation from their earliest years of education.
