In celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and in honor of innovative and creative teaching ideas, RT Holdings launched a professional competition titled the “Innovative Teaching Award 2025”, dedicated to all teachers from WASS, PennSchool, SISS, and the WASS Kindergarten.
Sharing his perspective as the developer and planner of the competition, Mr. Nguyen Huu Long, Head of the Teaching Quality Assurance Department (TQA) of RT Holdings, remarked:
“The Innovative Teaching Award 2025 opened up an intellectual playground where teachers challenge themselves, as well as provided an opportunity to breathe new life into familiar lessons.”
The Innovative Teaching Award 2025 was conducted in the form of a “Creative Teaching Project.” Teachers or groups of teachers could register projects across a wide range of areas, including innovative teaching methodologies, STEAM/STEM projects, life skills development, educational technology and digital learning tools, and experiential or community-connection activities. All ideas shared a unified goal: placing students at the center and creating a learning environment that is dynamic, meaningful, and effective.
Project topics were encouraged to stem from real classroom contexts – from challenges, concerns, or practical needs of learners – so that proposed solutions are grounded, purposeful, and impactful. In addition, the Organizing Committee encouraged teachers to align their ideas with the core values of their respective schools and of RT Holdings. This served as a guiding compass for projects to become deeper, more authentic, and scalable across the Group.
Right from its launch, the competition received overwhelming support from teachers. The submitted projects not only demonstrate strong professional expertise but also stand out for their creativity, contemporary thinking, and willingness to experiment with new approaches. From technology-infused lessons and emotionally rich experiential activities to innovative ideas for building positive classroom culture, every project reflects the passion and commitment of teachers toward the holistic development of their students.
Expressing his pride in the competition’s results, Mr. Huu Long shared:
“After one month, nearly 100 creative projects have been registered and brought to life by our teachers. Through each project, they have clearly demonstrated their passion and dedication to the profession, spreading inspiration for innovation throughout the teaching community of RT Holdings. This reminds me of a saying by William A. Ward:
‘The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.’”
The Innovative Teaching Award 2025 was not just a professional activity – it is also an opportunity for the entire RT Holdings community to look toward the future of education with a refreshed mindset. The high-quality, inventive projects created by teachers serve as powerful evidence of the spirit behind the theme of the academic year 2025 – 2026: “New Beginning, Endless Possibilities.” Each new beginning opens limitless possibilities for the journey of innovation and growth for both educators and learners.
