If the academic year 2024 – 2025 were a moving symphony, the School Year Exhibition and the Closing Ceremony would be its crescendo, where students showcase their full talents and are honored for their proud achievements after nine months of relentless effort and breakthroughs.
On May 28 – 29, 2025, the academic communities of WASS, PennSchool, Sydney School, and WASS Kindergarten gathered at Nguyen Du Stadium to take part in one of the year’s most anticipated events: the School Year Exhibition.
The event offered a chance to admire impressive academic projects created by students throughout the year. These projects not only represent the students’ learning outcomes but also reflect the excellence of the teaching staff and their creativity in applying modern methods to convey knowledge, especially Project-Based Learning.
Equally exciting was the vibrant art performance, which delivered an emotional experience through elaborate and captivating acts featuring the enthusiastic participation of both teachers and students.
Applause erupted as students were called to the stage to receive prestigious awards, including the Principal’s Award (WASS), Principal’s Honor Roll (PennSchool), and Principal’s Honour Roll (Sydney School). These merits recognized the outstanding academic performance of the students over the past year.
In the Closing Ceremony, students across the school system continued to receive certificates of merit and meaningful gifts in recognition of their outstanding achievements in various fields. These certificates of merit are not only a tribute to their progress but also a recognition of the silent efforts of teachers in their journey to impart knowledge and nurture the potential of future global citizens. The Closing Ceremony was also a time for families, teachers, and students to come together, reflect on a school year full of remarkable highlights, and send hopeful wishes for the year ahead.
